Chantal + Brooks first started planning their Colorado Mountain wedding in the height of Covid. They initially planned for a wedding at the Vail Mountain Resorts, but by the time they went to book they were all closed because of the restrictions put in place by Covid. .

At this time, Chantal and Books already booked me as their photographer, and I knew they wanted an intimate mountain wedding and wanted to give their guests a true Colorado mountain experience. 

That's when I suggested The Surf Hotel.

It took Chantal + Brooks all of three seconds to decide that this was definitely the spot they envisioned themselves getting married, but they didn't even know it existed. 

So they scheduled a tour, secured a date that was available for everyone, and with the help of Ashley from Always Flawless Productions based out of California, they designed this timeless, rustic, and elegant modern mountain wedding day. 

The design, coupled with the intimate, candid feel of the day, presented an opportunity for the most emotional first look and ceremony, stunning sunset photos with the collegiate peaks in the background and charming, personal details that helped tell their story.
